Blooma’s movement classes are for everyone and we have so much to offer, no matter what your stage of life. Prenatal yoga classes are designed specifically to support you throughout your pregnancy. Our other adult class formats (flow yoga, slow flow yoga, restorative yoga, barre classes, pilates) are prenatal & postnatal-friendly. BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) Yoga classes are the most gentle approach to adding movement back into your routine postnatally. We also offer Kids Yoga classes for your little ones all the way through 8 years of age.
Yes! Low impact movement like yoga, pilates and barre has so many benefits during pregnancy; a regular movement routine can help you alleviate pregnancy symptoms as your body grows and changes, prepare you for labor & set you up for more ease in your postpartum recovery. We advise you to check in with your care team for individual questions about your movement routine.
You do not have to be a member to attend movement classes at Blooma. We offer drop-in rates, 10 class and 20 class packs, in addition to our monthly membership. Not sure which one works for you yet? Try our New Student Special for $20 of unlimited classes for one week.
We set up the space for you and provide yoga mats and props that you can use during class at no additional charge. We also have a kitchenette on site where you’ll find water and tea. Bring whatever makes you feel at home: wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and your yoga mat if you have a preference for it.
Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required. Whether you booked your class ahead of time or chose to drop-in, check in at the front desk or with your teacher before class starts.
We welcome you to bring your baby with you to the following class formats: BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) Yoga, Babywearing Barre & FREE New Mom Groups. Workshops like Infant Massage & The Motherhood Series are also designed for both parent/caregiver + baby to attend.
Most 200 hour yoga teacher trainings offer little to no information on how to apply the tools of yoga to optimally support someone during pregnancy. All of our prenatal yoga instructors have completed specialty training that has equipped them with the knowledge and experience required to lead safe & effective prenatal yoga classes. Many of our teachers are also doulas, childbirth educators and/or parents who imbue this knowledge into their classes.
BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) Yoga is appropriate for you + your little one during the pre-crawling stage. Little Kids’ Yoga is designed for those 9 months – 4 years old where adults / caregivers attend with your child. Kids Yoga is the first stage where little ones attend solo and is designed for 4 – 8 year olds.
We understand that sometimes plans change. If you’re unable to make it to a movement class for any reason, Blooma won’t penalize you.
Your drop-in or class pack credit will be returned to your account for future use. Please note that workshops and childbirth education classes have a different cancellation policy
